Motorcyclist falls 100 feet off cliff in Hawaii Kai, critically injured

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A motorcyclist is hospitalized in critical condition after first responders found him below Halona Blowhole Lookout in Hawaii Kai.

The motorcyclist, 22, fell 100 feet down the cliff near Lanai Lookout.

HPD said the man was traveling eastbound on Kalanianaole Hwy. before he hit the guardrail.

He was ejected over the guardrail, where HFD was able to get the man into a stretcher before carrying him up the steep terrain.

HPD said the man was wearing a helmet.

Medical care was transferred to Honolulu EMS who treated him for multiple injuries and took him to the hospital.
